For Consumers
The provider-members of ALAA are all licensed by the Alabama Department of Public Health and have an Administrator who has passed a rigorous licensure examination. While the style and amenities of each facility differ, you may be assured that quality, customer-oriented service motivates these providers.
Part of the charm of assisted living is choice and selection. Some facilities are very “home-like”: smaller communities, country settings, and low-key activities. Others are larger with more activities and many amenities.
And there are many choices in between. As you begin your search for “just the right” place, review the listings, call – better yet visit - and get a flavor of the particular style.
More active adults may choose an assisted living option with many scheduled activities while others may prefer a quieter location.
ALAA members support choice and full-disclosure. Ask the Administrator for a tour and a presentation of how that facility operates. One thing is clear, Alabama assisted living offers many choices. There is one just right for you.
